Commitment to Quality
rollingwithscience.com is committed to creating a quality interactive yet affordable educational experience at local roller skating rinks. Each curriculum is designed around the framework of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics aka STEM. Along with creating a dynamic STEM program, rollingwithscience.com also is focused on the educational needs of each state as the curriculum prepares the students for greater success on their state’s mandated tests.
My Commitment to Small Business
I am pro small business! The small business, in my opinion, is the heart of not only the community but our nation. I want to provide your rink with all the resources on how to make your rink’s rollingwithscience science curriculum successful. You’ve made the investment in RWS (rollingwithscience.com) RWS wants to invest in your rink and in your teachers. RWS is designed to partner with you and your teachers by providing RWS Blogs and instructional videos to help your rink be the best it can be when presenting your STEM Program to your local students.
RWS requires no hidden fees, royalties, or party percentage required with any rollingwithscience curriculum. There will be updates offered at the beginning of each year – however, the $350 update fee is optional. I want your rink to not only be profitable during the school week but most importantly have repeat business.

“For years my goal for every class is to create a unique learning atmosphere that will produce, “Light Bulb” moments within your students. I want them to be able to look at the world around them, and be inspired.” – Glenn Little
“By using familiar things like roller skating and skating dynamics to teach something unfamiliar like the Law of Motion creates authentic learning. I want to use the “Old School” to teach the NEW school – That’s the heart behind ROLLINGWITHSCIENCE.COM” – Glenn Little
I have a passion for education and teaching
Glenn Little is a professional communicator with over 20 years of proven experience in both public, private, and homeschool education. He has performed/taught/trained thousands of students, adults, and leaders all over the United States. Glenn’s creative communication combined with his innovative visuals fueled by imagination, not only entertains but educates his audiences. Glenn describes himself as an entertainer with the heart of an educator. All of Glenn’s curricula are designed to inspire, entertain, and educate. Drawing from his years of experience with school field trips and school programs, Glenn is excited and honored to have the opportunity to help rink owners be successful within the educational community.
For 10 years I taught 4th grade writing at Teague Elementary in Pasadena ISD. Every year (right before the state test) we would have a writing “camp.” The theme was “Cowboy Life.” Glenn Little and I discussed how he could incorporate his wonderful storytelling skills and design a curriculum to help our students do well on their writing test. Mr. Little worked up the stories of “Pecos Bill” and “The Three Javelinas.” He delivered the stories to our 4th graders as only he can. The students sat in awe because of his enthusiasm, humor and especially his “facial expressions.” After the stories were told, Glenn would teach about what it takes to write a creative story. He explained to the children to decide who their audience would be.
Then he instructed them to choose an idea and begin to think of a good beginning. As they began to write their story, use lots of imagination. He taught them how to use their own voice in their story He would illustrate and taught the students the value of having a good ending. This would motivate our students to want to write a good composition for their state test. Every year the 4th graders looked forward to Mr. Little’s creative teachings.

My name is Patricia Goins and I had the pleasure of teaching in the same program at Clear Lake Academy as Glenn Little. Mr.Little is a very animated and entertaining teacher who uses out of the box thinking to engage his students in their learning. From teaching students how to debate topics to hands on experiments to learn thermodynamics, Mr.Little used creativity in each and every one of the lessons he designed. His method of teaching used technology as well as socratic questioning in order to best meet the needs of our 21st century learners. His science curriculum was created by him and often infused history to explain the thinking and social conscripts of the time period. Mr. Little creates authentic learning in a fun and engaging setting.

I am the director of a school program in Deer Park Texas and I have had the chance to work with Glenn Little as a valuable asset to my programs for the past five years. Glenn has offered his programs in order to give my students a hands on and interactive learning experience that is not only educational but uniquely engaging.
Glenn has taught and structured a science curriculum this year that has allowed the students to have experience with everything from sound waves and blubber to lobsters and hibernation. When he offered his curriculum Mr Little vs. The Big Balloon it was an experience the students will never forget ! I am always amazed at the capability he has not only to connect with the students but engage them in activities that take learning science to a whole different level. He is able to take science and make it what it should be… A fun and engaging learning experience that sticks with the kids and helps them remember and apply what they are learning from week to week. I have been impressed with the way in which he structures activities and challenges the students to grow in their understanding and fascination with science. I am thrilled that my students have had the opportunity to learn from him and would highly recommend any of his programs.

Mr. Little’s classes are top notch. His classes offer children opportunities to engage with big concepts and ideas at a level that makes sense to them. He has developed comprehensive hands-on science (and history) curriculum that provide students with the opportunity to discuss, participate, observe and experiment with scientific concepts and materials at their level. Mr. Little’s curriculum is a unique experience like no other classes in his field. My sons have been taking Mr. Little’s science and history classes for the past 4 years. Their favorite classes have been Zoology 1 & 2, Mr. Little vs. the Big Balloon, and Mr. Little vs. Abraham Lincoln. Actually, my oldest son says “My favorite class is whatever Mr. Little is teaching. Every class is always exciting and interesting.”
I highly recommend Mr. Little’s classes. Once your child attends one, they will be asking for more!

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
– William Yeats
My students have been taking science classes with Glenn Little for the past 4 years. During that time, I have seen them develop a love for science and investigation. After his classes, the students can be found excitedly discussing higher level concepts one would not expect their ages to be able to comprehend. On their own, they ask more questions and look for ways this information can be applied to the world around them. Glenn has a gift for motivating students to begin their own quests of science exploration. His curriculum is very advanced and the information far surpasses that of a standard textbook. Yet the approach he uses with complex visual aids, hands on experiments, real world examples, and group projects makes these advanced concepts simple for students to understand and easy for them to remember long afterwards.
Two of the favorite curriculums that Glenn has taught my students was about Abraham Lincoln and another was about Benjamin Franklin. He tied science and history together which made the history aspect come to life. Students were able to see the big picture of what the world was like in many areas during their time in history. It pieced together many important events in both science and history, giving students a much greater understanding of the “why” things were the way they were. Many hands on experiments were used and the kids came away excited and full of new knowledge after every class.
Their favorite group project was a weather balloon team he formed where the students were broken into teams. Each team was responsible for a different aspect of the flight, construction, and media coverage. At the end of this project Glenn organized a caravan of cars, parents, and students to launch the weather balloon, and then chase it from Texas all the way into Louisiana. All the while they tracked its travel and speed and documented the flight with Go-Pro cameras. It was a truly amazing experience for the students that they will never forget. Even more than the science, they learned that they can do big things when they use cooperation and determination. Glenn Little is an phenomenal teacher who has had a profound effect on many students. Many parents would stand behind him and say the same.
